Ring/ 雨锜 Yuqi (yu-chi) is a fiery multidisciplinary queer artist, casting director, clown, classically-trained actor, and theatre educator.

They started their art practices in 2011 in photography and writing, and have been creating in various forms including but not limited to artistic direction, performance, video art, and mask making. Their work explores the intricacies of movement, gestural languages, and the metamorphosis of the human body, with introspective narratives on queerness and the female body. As an immigrant, Ring navigates the intersectionality between personal experiences and the surveillance state, examining the complexities of identity and belonging.
